Neon Tetra And Red Eye Tetra Red Eye Tetra Scales Peeling?

Red eye tetra scales peeling? - neon tetra and red eye tetra

Hello, I have a community tank with about 20 fish that is ready for about 3 months. My three red-eye tetras have problems with your skin ... on the sides of fish scales / skin appears to be deducted and are gray-white. It is also very red in the Gill area. None of my other fish seem to be affected by this problem, including my Serpa and neon. I tried to find information about the network, but can not see photos that look like Saddleback diseases, safe, "but it's something different in the future. Anyway, if anyone can suggestions about how to deal with this or where you information about something which sounds similar to find a lot to offer, I appreciate it. Thank you!

When you say stripped, you think that the scales are actually fish, or it seems that a film made of them? How long the condition has been recently and fish in the tank? If so, what and for how long? If the material appears to be unclear, as it seemed, in any form or consistency more like a baba? Are you really see the muscles under the skin where the skin was removed? The fins are a bit? Do you have a starting point for the dissemination of fish? It is the side of the fish or the points of these problems? If the spots are round or more forms? Are the red dots in the middle? They will diagnose reasonably possible, with all this information is really a wild guess. Please include information on the issue, and I will check and edit my answer, or you can send us an e-mail information.

PLUS: The first thing that comes to mind is columnaris. It usually starts around the mouth of the fish and away from her, but may be in other areas too. ColuPhilippoussis is a bacterial infection, which also responds to Furanace or Maracyn 2nd Columnaris uaully fungus is known as the mouth, but it is also known as Saddleback disease as we had mentioned it in his original information. It is a complex disease, as it may seem little different from fish, fish. Some argue that the treatment was with malachite green or formalin, but in one case, that about this time I strongly recommend that antibiotic treatment instead. Since treatment with antibiotics to alter the nitrogen cycle, I propose the removal of these fish per tank for the quarantine treatment.

Another possibility is Costia. Costia is a parasitic infection, which cause symptoms very similar to what you can see. The best treatment is a good way, I Costia quality or salt bath. Salt is often recommended when the damage is real and Gill not only the redness. The drug should I use to deal with ICH, but usually a shorter period is needed to clarify. To treatment with salt 2-3 tablespoons of salt per gallonLon. Top of the salt gradually over several hours in the tank for 2 days.

Your call, but I would like to try the first treatment, because Costia achieve faster results. If it seems not started within 48 hours to move the treatment to work columnaris.
